1. Exclusive Discounts

• 10% Shop Discount: Active members (youth and coaches) of the Iowa City Mountain Bike Club will receive a 10% discount on mountain bikes, parts, equipment, clothing, and more (labor is not included). To take advantage of this benefit, a list of active members will be shared with all participating shops. Please mention your membership when visiting a shop to ensure a smooth transaction. This discount is valid throughout the year.

• Manufacturer Discount: Active members may be eligible for a special discount directly from a manufacturer on select special-order mountain bikes. Please contact shops directly for information on manufacturer discounts they may be able to access for you.

2. Complimentary Bike Sizing and Check-Up

• Active members can bring their bikes to any of the partnered shops for a free sizing and safety check. This service ensures your bike is properly adjusted and safe to ride. If issues are identified, the shop will provide recommendations for repairs or adjustments. While the sizing and check-up are free, any necessary repairs will be charged at the shop's standard service fee, with a 10% discount applied to any required parts. We encourage all team members to take advantage of this important service to ride comfortably and safely.

3. Team Engagement and Special Events

• Our bike shop partners are actively involved with the team. They may host post-practice clinics, organize bike shop nights, provide mechanical support during our local race, and more. These activities foster a closer relationship between the team and our local bike shops while providing valuable learning opportunities for members.
