About Us

 

The Iowa City Mountain Bike Team has an excellent group of volunteer coaches who have a broad range of experiences (e.g. road racing, gravel racing, mountain bike racing, cyclocross racing, etc.). We collaborate together in order to offer the best coaching to each group of the team. Plus we strive to always improve our work together. Veteran coaches help new coaches. Plus older athletes are given the opportunity to become team captains. Together we are all excited to help the team have a fantastic season.

Registration for the 2024 Season

Welcome to the Iowa City Mountain Bike Club! We are a youth mountain bike team for ages 8-18. It's free to be a part of the team. Our goal is to have fun, learn skills, and ride/race bikes. We will have a pre-season meeting in March. Practices will start in April. They will be once a week on Thursday evenings at 6:00PM at the Creekside Flow trails (3550 340th St SE, Coralville) or Sugar Bottom trails ( 2192 Mehaffey Bridge Rd NE, Solon ).
